So, due to popular request, I’ve prepared a little post LIB piece of Kei and Rae in Chicago which should be ready sometime tonight! So yes, your inbox is going to be getting another message which if you’re a subscriber, I apologize for XD

And on the personal note, just thought I’d share some good news (well at least for me) with you all! I know many of you have asked if I planned on pursuing a career in writing and to which I had always said no, that I planned on pursuing other art related forms. I always had the gut feeling that I should have gone with writing, majoring in English like I had wanted to for a while. Instead, I went to art school and what can I say? I just don’t feel…right there. I love photography and occasionally drawing, but not the entire art spectrum.

So, several meetings and phone calls later, and I’ve been accepted into a different university that I plan to major in English with a focus in Creative Writing. So….yeah, I think I’m going to be a writer. haha, that sounds strange and a little silly but…I feel right about this, like it’s what I was supposed to do. I start Tuesday and I’m very excited, so….you’ll be seeing me around!

It’s been a week now since ending Lost in Blue, and I’m already back at it. Back at the writing, back at the simming. Anyways, before I go on about that, I’m going to address a few things.

1. The most important point here is this: there will be no sequel, no Adventures of Kei and Rae in America. It’s tempting, and I don’t want to say I’ll never touch on it like a short story here and then, but as of now…I have no plans on continuing Lost in Blue. I’ve grown tired of it really, and just want to move onto more things!

2. 

I’ve been secreted, which is pretty cool because I thought I had long ago faded from anyone’s attention XD Whoever wrote it – thanks, you’re pretty awesome!

That also goes out to those who commented/read not only this part, but the entire series! I’m working on answering the comments for the last part, so if you had a question or anything….I’m replying ASAP XD

3. Remember N0V0CAINE? It’s been driving me nuts. I stayed up the past two nights replanning/rewriting/getting really frustrated with it to the point I had to start a new notebook. In the past three days, I’ve completely planned out potential for two-three books. What does that mean? I’m not sure yet. A whole lot of work and writing, because seriously – this story has been in my head and driving me crazy for too long. It’s gotta get out. Will keep you all posted of course, because I’ve been getting a few questions about it lately!

4. Finally, I think I might be starting to get out of my slump. For those that I have on MSN, I might have mentioned something about it, but anyways…for the past few months writing has = impossible. I don’t know why, but it just has. I simply didn’t have the energy with things that were going on in my personal life, and though things haven’t exactly gotten better, I’m learning to cope through writing once again. I’m thinking about starting a website for my writing, since I have sooooo much of it everywhere. I’m leaning towards tumblr since it’s so easy, but that means you’d have to have an account on the chance you wanted to follow me. I like wordpress since it’s easy to keep track of everything though. Hmmm….I’ll eventually decide XD

5. And to top it all off, I thought I’d show you all my ‘collection.’ All these notebooks are either partially or completely full of stories – a total of 16 notebooks, not counting the many scraps I have around or things I’ve just typed. So…yeah, there’s plenty there and I’m always being asked if I write more/am going to have another story….

6. FINALLY, lets meet a face you might be seeing more of sometime soon…

Everything is gone – all my lots, my Sims. I have backups of my Sims, but all the ones for my lots are corrupted. That being said, LIB 8 is going to be a little delayed. Just letting you all know why – I have to rebuild everything if I don’t find another back up – I’m sure I have one, but who would know where. *big sigh* Things may look a little different, as my Sim back ups were all new, remade versions so…sorry about that. I’m really frustrated with the game, but I’m going to hold of uninstalling until I get this done.

Nevermind. Can we all be really thankful that I obsessively backed up my game? Going into LIB zone in 3….2….1….

PS I see I’ve gotten quite a queue of comments to attend to, and I’ll answer those in the coming days. Right now I just want to find my lots.

I’ve had such a busy summer! A lot of stuff, getting ready to move out into my own. Thus, a lack of updates. Anyways, here is a very quick one before I head off to sleep!

First of all, the poll. I was completely blown away by the results.

I was expecting maybe 30 or so answers, so to see 86 was quite a surprise! More news may come about this as a decide what to do with the answer. But thank you so much everyone!

As for the last part, all that’s remaining are the pictures. I’ll see what I can do tomorrow… :3 But as for an estimate, do not ask – by now you should know that I don’t give an estimate of time n__n

And finally, just for fun. I’ve been playing with Sims 3 lately and….what can I say, I love it. Thinking about doing a Sims story with it but who knows…

I did some research and found websites that allow you to ‘publish’ your own books, meaning upload them and get a book – paperback or hardcover even with a full colour cover! So I was thinking about putting something together as a summer project. As some of you know I’ll be going to college this fall so a project will keep me busy and distracted XD

So, I set up a poll HERE that you can vote at – it only takes second. I think I’d only do this if 30 or 40 or so people were interested, as it would be a lot of effort only for 2 or 3. If the credit card thing is an issue, I’m considering taking concealed cash. Prices would probably be no more than $20 (probably more around $10-15), considering how long it is and the price it costs me to order. I want to make a profit afterall.

This is purely an idea right now and I was just wondering if it would be worth the effort. I think regardless I want to work on a writing project of sorts, maybe set up a website for fun, but if people were interested I’d definitely take getting a copy out for consideration. Either that or a PDF file…which isn’t HALF as fancy lol.

In other news, I’m done school and have one week off to do as I wish before graduation week so…..see you all soon. Very soon, I’m predicting…

First and most importantly, I am compelled to genuinely thank everyone so so so  much from the bottom of my heart for the comments, the praise, the love, the friendship, the laughs, everything. You all can’t possibly understand what it’s all meant for me. In the past two years, I’ve grown – not only in personality, but writing. Writing started out as nothing more than something I was forced to do at school, something I reserved for necessity. Through this story and this story alone, it has become so much more – it’s become a passion, an escape of sorts. And even though there were times I never thought I was very good at it, people continued to surprise me by saying otherwise. And heck, I still sometimes doubt my ability to make words into sentences, sentences into paragraphs, and ultimately paragraphs into stories.

But through comments in my guestbook, this site, Flickr, forums, MSN, emails, even Facebook messages, all-together amassing over 2000 (yeah I counted) positive comments (and one very very very sweet but short story using Kei and Rae that was my most favourite thing someone ever sent me), we’ve reached this point. A point so much further from two years ago, where I’d churn out shitty stories weekly just to stroke my ego with guestbook comments. And now, your comments humble me – they make me laugh, make me frustrated, and ultimately make me want to work harder. The first time someone said I had inspired them, I was in absolute awe.

I never expected a little Sims story I had written on the fly to ever get any readers, let alone get almost 200 000 views across different sites. And I know that’s not a lot compared to Harry Potter, but it’s a start. It makes me want to…to write more, to fill more heads with the stories that invade mine so loudly. And maybe someday that will happen – who knows.

I know I just made a post like this, but I seriously can’t say it enough how much I love you all and wish I could thank you all in person or something. I wish I could send you all handwritten letters, or write you all stories with you as the main character by hand involving sexytimes with Kei, or treat you for lunch because you’ve all made the past few years just so awesome.

Lost In Blue was a huge part of my life, and as much as I want to end it…I want to continue it. I want to write Kei’s life pre-Rae, Rae’s life pre-Kei. Maybe someday. I love these characters too dearly to let them go, yet they cause me misery and boredom to constantly be consumed by. Maybe. Maybe. Maybe I will work away at it silently for the next few years and one day you will see The Times and Troubles and Tribulations of Kei Takayama at a bookstore and faintly remember this little story from this little corner of the internet and buy it. Maybe not, but if you do ever see it let me know so that I can take down whoever I ‘inspired’ for that one.

I don’t think I’ll ever stop writing after this, LIB or something entirely different. You don’t stop loving because someone broke your heart – you don’t stop writing because a story is done. I want to start up something, another Sims story because I love them dearly even though the phase is a dying one. Or maybe not. Real life is rapidly approaching – my ~adult birthday~ is on June 17! – and who knows if I’ll have time. But I will always be compelled to create, to tell the stories that so aimlessly have been in my head for years.

Since this is starting to get a little corny and I’m all about avoiding corniness (and it’s nearly five in the morning!) I think I’ll wrap this up and save everything else for the final part. To summarize – THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE. YOU’VE BLOWN MY MIND WITH THE SUPPORT FOR THIS LITTLE STORY SINCE I STARTED AND I STILL CAN’T BELIEVE IT. LOVE TO YOU ALL.

so, a little update on the next part. i have the writing NEARLY done and probably will be done within the next hour. that leaves pictures. next week is spring break and so i’m going to try and get it all done between now and HOPEFULLY next friday. if not, i promise it won’t be nearly as long as a wait (last part before this was in april o__o).

on the sixth, it’s also lost in blue’s two year anniversary! so here’s some “should of happened”s XD

• The ending was COMPLETELY different than what it’s going to be. the one who had been killed was actually Kei, and Kei was actually Koji pretending to be Kei. However, Koji made it look as though he had been the one to die for some reason or another (I think it had something to do with a gang or something after koji XD). This was probably up until chapter three that this ending had been however, it didn’t work because Kei started to become his own character with his own story. So then I had no idea what the ending would be until part six XD
• At first Mae had nothing to do with the Takayamas and was more just a source of wisdom. Mayumi was meant to be Kei’s real mother. I decided last minute (like, at the beginning of THAT chapter where Kei reveals it XD) that Mae would be his mother, and that Kei’s past was a lot darker than before.
• In fact, Kei’s past wasn’t supposed to be all that dark. Initially, he was just going to be a complete jerk. I mean, seeing as Koji’s was so ideal, how could his twin’s be that bad? But I just kept getting ideas after ideas – his past came really easily to me. In fact, sometime I’d love to write out Kei’s past. Next project? XD
• Rae was supposed to have silver hair and always wear really crazy makeup and clothes. XD
• Rae’s name was actually going to be Melissa, and I actually wrote Melissa for the entire first chapter XD
• Chapters one-three are hand written. OLD SCHOOL I know haha.
• The original ending of Lost In Blue (the one I had to re-write) is so awful that it will never ever be revealed XD Lets just say it was nothing like how it is now.

Now, I’m off to update the site around here. It’s been a while since updating my FAQ/Content list XD

Oh! And I was wondering – would anyone be interested in hearing a playlist for LIB? lol, the entire duration of LIB I’ve written out songs I’ve listened to while writing for inspiration XD
